Research Interests

Quantum information theory, especially anything to do with the use of complementarity in understanding quantum information processing.
One-shot information theory and operational notions of entropy.
Resource theories and thermodynamics. Topological quantum computation and topological order, classical and quantum simulation of many-body systems. Foundations of quantum mechanics.
